5 tips to become a leader

Many people want to become big and successful but they don’t have the qualities for that to be quiet honest.
Becoming a leader is matter of courage and caliber. Some qualities are God gifted some needs to developed.

I am telling you the most important tips for becoming a leader according to me.

1.) Be great at communication

This is my favourite one, being good at communication is the most extraordinary skills one can have.

You can never be good politics if you are bad at communication. In the same way, you need to be you can never be a good corporate leader if you can’t communicate properly.

Make sure you can explain clearly and fluently. I have observed that explaining complex things is a serious task and very few people can do that. You need to explain things so good that minimum error can be attained.

2.) Never stop learning

I have observed that top corporate leaders or poticial leaders read a lot. They never stop learning that is why they are never slow at adopting new strategies to accomplish their tasks.
Learning continuously is a sign of successful people. If you want to become a leader then always try to gain more knowledge so that it will clear your mind while tackling new problems. Having prior knowledge on the problem will make it easy for you to solve it.

3.) Share the success

It is not morally correct if you have become successful and you are not celebrating with your colleagues and the people who have contributed in it.

There is a story about A.P.J Abdul Kalam that when he successfully sent the satellite in the second attempt in the orbit, his project Director Sathish Dhawan asked him to take the press conference rather taking himself. This shows that what a true leader does, when you fail you take the responsibility of the failure and when you get the success you try to cater your colleagues and contributers in it.

4.) Be courageous and confident

I feel courage should be in your genetics such that it won’t be hard for you tackle the problems. Courage is the most extraordinary skill one can have. It can give you immense power to fight against anything. Courage and confidence is directly proportional, the more courageous you are, the more confident you would be.

5.) Know your limits

A lot of times it happens that you pushed things hard which you shouldn’t. I feel you need to know that when to stop.

For example, if you are trying to do something and by some means it’s working. You are trying hard to get it done but it’s not. In this moment you need to stop and think where you are going wrong. But despite of this, you are just going on and on which is not at all a wise thing to do.

Don’t put a lot of pressure of your team members, if someone is not doing right replace him with someone else rather than criticising him.
