There was a severe panic in the PNB Housing Finance stock on Friday post the news of Girish Kousgi’s resignation from the CEO position, which he put on 30th July and was accepted on 31st July by the board. His last day is going to be 28 October.
The thing is he performed really well in transforming the business of PNB Housing Finance in his 3 year leadership. Therefore, many investors could be seeing this development as quite negative for the company.
However, I heard on NDTV Profit from the MD of PNB, Ashok Chandra that the resignation from Girish Kousgi is solely due to personal reasons. Therefore, there is no need to panic. Let’s see how this comes out on Monday.
